Agreed!!!!! Red Eye Shads and the like can be casted a long way....but not 70 yards. Heck, only about 1 in 10 pro QB's can throw a football that far!!!!!!!!! Do you realize that is 210 ft????

70 yds? amazing! I used to use a 13 ft noodle rod, 8 lb mono, and cast a 3/4 ounce cleo. and I doubt I hit 50yds, and this was in open water.But enough of that. ordered a 7ft med casting rod, and a magna cast left hander from bass pro. The reason I asked was because of the spin associated with small baits on spinning tackle, even with braided line. its annoying to make a long cast, and wind up with fouled bait.At my age I dont have thwe time left to correct those mishaps.Although the braid works much better than mono or flouro.
