Fixing the "backreeling" on old school Stradic reels.

I've had problems with the super stopper bearing and clutch assembly in the past, and did some research on fixing them......

I've been taking my reels apart for years, and one of my buddies was talking about the problem and while trying to explain it, I decided to create a video.

    Check this out.

Thanks for sharing the video. I haven't had the problem yet, but now I know what to do.

I don't think I'm going any further than that. I do take the reels completely apart, and I do lubricate the gears inside, but that is more like a 20 minute video, and takes some care due to some "funky" parts in those reels.

    Glad you like it .

Nice to see you posting here also.
