I meant to post this earlier but got busy. Went to Nolin today, put in at Wax after waiting on three inconsiderate souls on the ramp. I saw that the water was muddy but figured I would try anyhow. It is too low to go up river so I headed the other way. The color cleared from coffee cream color to just light brown and/or green stain after I got out ot the Wax channel. Fished several places on the main lake and up into Dog Creek but it was SLOW. The temp was 54 to 58 degrees. Caught one 16 inch keeper and three slots in the 13-15 inch range, all on medium diving crankbaits in less than ten feet of water. No pattern, one here and one there. A beautiful day to be out and a bunch of other people thought the same thing--the parking lot looked like it does on a slow Saturday.
