The last time I had cancer was over six years ago and I am fine; I don't even think about it. Fortunately for me, after the initial shock, a calming peace settled over me and I was never afraid. The second cancer was a different type than the first and neither was breast cancer; after surgery I didn't need further treatment. One was Level III.
The reason I mentioned breast cancer is because the CDC is not in the habit of revealing statistics on teenage girls who have it. Statistics are scarce on the number of men who also get it. It seems to me like they think only middle-age and elderly have the disease. jmo

My mom has done the same thing and it has been a scary ride each time.
