    Cardinal Basketball

The Cards looked good against a depleted Arkansas team. I think the Cards will take a few on the chin but will be OK in the long run.

I saw some positives, Delk coming off the bench with a big game! I saw the big negative, 4 plus minutes before a point in the 2nd half. They will be fine in the long run.

I really liked the outside shooting and Delk was very good. Swopshire plyed better than I expected. I think the Cards will be fine. Luckily the schedule isn't really that tough until we get to Big East play.

I try not to get to excited aboput wins over $EC teams, it is not like they are stellar programs in that conference lol.

Don, I was joking and while I didn't see the score I did see the highlights and it was impressive. Tha being said, I cannot remember the last time we lost to Tennessee and we have played them five times, including in the Sweet 16 when they were the SEC champs and we beat them like a drum.

I like to take jabs at the SEC in basketball, because that is all you hear about from UK fans during football season when Louisville was still participating in the sport.

Somebody said I need to apply for the upcoming Head Football Coaching Position at Louisville. They said my experience with 5-6 year olds in our flag football leagues was pretty much enough to be more qualified than the current head coach. Not sure because I don't follow the Ville or Big Blue in football so maybe somebody here can tell me if I am qualified. In the spring we went 9-1 with a team of first time players and only lost to a team that had been together for 3 years. Currently we are 6-1 and avenged our only loss twice by beating them by 3 touchdowns each game (pretty much none of them brought their 5 and 6 yr old set of EARS with them the game we lost because they did not listen to anything) and our last game is today against a team we beat by 3 touchdowns the first time. My guess is I will be 16-2 after my first full year of coaching. Is this good enough because I will be needing a job after my next surgery? Should be ready by spring practise.

Elnut, I was the one that said you might applu. The position pays well and you have a huge recruiting budget, you might want to give it a shot.

I am going to send in my application and use you as a reference. I am not holding my breath until I get a phone call for the interview. My only last question is, Can I be the Football Head Coach at Louisville even though I am a HUGE UK Basketball fan and despise Rick Pitino for taking a job so close to the Big Blue? Yes, I loved him when he was at UK but like him the exact opposite amount now. Hope the hiring committee does not hold that against me.

Oh you got it made my man! All you have to say is you want to live your live as Ricky P. does. With that statement you don't need to worry about women on the side or tell the truth. Just remember...TWISM (the world is mine) Sorry bout that right there.

Elwood.... Being a Notre Dame alumnus, I heard from a little bird, and several thousand bloggers that there maybe an opening in South Bend... I know it's a little cold, but rumor has it it pays $50 mil over 10 years.... (Plus get summers off).... FnF after the regular season and the BCS not until the new year.... May look good in Nike...
