Gonna get to see these new boys play tonight. Got me a few tickets in the lower arena. Yeah yeah they are only playing Sam Houston State but I'm going to see UK and this new team. Hopefully it's a good game. Wonder if I'll get heckled wearing my Gator shirt?![]()

Naw an ATV riding buddy. I hope it's close like the last game I wanna see some hard fast playing b-ball.
Have fun buddy, drink a Miller Lite for me.
Game was good. We could hear Coach Cal pretty clear yelling at the players. What a difference from Billy G.!
Another close one, Hmmmmmmmmm, it's gonna take awhile with this group I'm afraid.
Maybe Oscar Combs needs to quit telling his listners to go ahead and buy their Final Four tickets now, lol.
I see Wall as too fast and reckless...maybe some more playing time as a team member will help this guy. He reminds me of Penny Hardaway...remember him? Tons of hype but never proved he could live up too it. I know it's only 3 games in but thats what I see right now.
If these guys will play some defense and actually play team ball not street corner ball they will be tough but Coach Cal has one heck of a job on his hands!!
Bledsoe playing the 2 this year will make him better than Wall next year when Wall is the "#1 pick in the NBA Draft, WHATEVER". Love Bledsoe's game and playing out of position will do nothing but make him an outstanding point next year and then he will be gone to the NBA as well. Better get some more players in here because with Patterson and Wall gone after this year Bledsoe, Cousins most likely 2 and done at most, Liggins and Dodson in the doghouse, Liggins should have been gone last year when he refused to go in the game in Vegas and has not played a second all year. Better keep the recruiting trail nice and warm Coach Cal.
Good post Woodrow, dead on to. Bledsoe is better than Wall right now in my humble opinion. A little out of control at times but hey he's a Freshman. I like his game! You are also right about guys leaving early, Wall will be sniffing what NBA scouts are saying by Mid January. He is out to be a Pro, Kentucky is only a showcase tool for him. I guess if I could go make a Gazillion dollars a year I would do it to, oh well.Bledsoe playing the 2 this year will make him better than Wall next year when Wall is the "#1 pick in the NBA Draft, WHATEVER". in my oponion if walll dosent improve a whole lot he wont be going pro he hasnt impressed me any at all yet.nor has ky as a team but i think they wil get better by feb.
Bledsoe = 4 year player. Wall has the potential to be a stud. Bledsoe was not even the best point guard in the Derby Classic last season, some kid from Seattle was :-) !
I hope you are right about Bledsoe being a 4 year player but I don't see it. If he stays 4 years he will be the best Point Guard that has EVER played at Kentucky. With what I saw the first game when Wall was out and he played the point to what I see with him playing out of position and the ability to knock down the 3, he will be a STUD. 4 year starter if he stays, 1 at the 2 and 3 at the point, are you kidding me, in this offense which stresses ball control drives by whomever has the ball and it will be in his hands most of the time. I think UK will be better next year than this year even without Patterson and Wall. Cousins may test the NBA waters this year and if he keeps playing like he has against SHS and the last half of the Miami game he may be gone this year as well. But if Cousins is back and Orton, Bledsoe, Miller and Dodson (if he can get out of the doghouse), could be pretty tough. Plus all these guys will have a full season under Cal and his system that can't do nothing but get them better. Next year won't be as deep a team as this year but the better players will get more floor time than this year just due to the depth that he has this year. Now if Cal can just keep us off probation - which has been my fear ever since he was hired because his track record is not exactly spotless.
