Gills, I've heard that one should not even hit the reply button. That act alone confirms that they have a valid e-mail address which they will then sell to others.

My spam filter is set to send to spam any e-mail address that is not in my personal accept file. Occasionally I will go to my spam file and peruse addresses and then hit delete,delete,delete. with no response from me to the original sender.

As much as I would like to "mess" with these guys, I find it better to just ignore them. Similar to how I just ignore (ignore list) a certain poster to this board.
