i think the fact that it is not pure flouro leads to the problems i spoke of...too much memory for me! i can see how that line would be useful at night though.

The P-Line CX Premium like Fishalltime mentioned is excellent under black light, it's like fishing with yarn when its lit up it is amazing how much it lights up compaired to others.

I just used some (20 lb 6 lb dia) for the first time a few weeks ago on a heavy spinning reel so I could cast smaller lures further for striper jumps.
Worked fantastic. Can cast a lot further. Absolutely no (zero) line twist and I was having very bad problems before. Caught quite a few trout in the wolf creek dam boils using threadfin shad. The trout did not mind the visibility there but the water is moving pretty fast. Probably need to back of the drag quite a bit because it has about as much shock absorbing capacity as wire cable. Also I think a rod with some give in the tip would be in order to absorbe shock. Don't have much experience with visibility issues. Guess you could drop some in the water and take a look and compare to mono and floro. If you really want to find out take an under water look with a mask next summer. That would tell you exactly the fisibility. Now I don't know if fish see differently than humans and if they do if anybody cn design a line for that. I started using floro leaders this summer and caught a lot more fish. Some other factors could have played in too.

The guy at bass pro said braid does not wear out so from a maintenance point of view, twisting and wearing out, it is ideal

I use 20Lb Spiderwire braid on by revo baitcaster and it is great. I use it for topwater frog fishing and threw it with a buzzbait after dark and had great success.

They do, only helpfull hint is to wet the line before pulling any knot tight with braid. Makes the knot sinch alot tighter.

Well, the guy at Bass Pro is wrong....much info you get from those type of people is (no matter where they work). Braid is durable, strong, and cats well....but is actually less abrasion resistant than flouro. So it does wear out, and should be changed several times a year...depending on how much you fish!
