Any folks know where one can buy creek minnows (suckers) in the Celina/Burkesville area or somewhere around Lake Cumberland? Some fellas net them in the creeks...in fact, a young man posted here (Bucketmouth10???) about his daddy selling them.
Don't think One Stop (Celina) has them...just shiners, and fathead minnows
Any information much appreciated!

I would like to know as well.
We do have wild suckers and creek chubs for sale, $6.00 a dozen. Carry them year round generally. Located near Lee's Ford in Somerset. They are generally between 4-7 inches long unless you need a specific size. It usually isn't a problem to meet up at any time during the morning or day. Anyone interested can reach myself (Dustin) at 606-271-3127 or my father (David) at 606-271-6575.
A few questions for Bucketmouth10. Do you have a actual store, do you sell small minnows (for crappie) and tackle also? What hours are you open, if I just want to swing by and pick bait. What the least you will deliver, are there a fee for that. I live local (somerset) will like to find your place, does it have a name/sign. How long you been selling bait?
Don't have an actual store or anything. Although, we do have a commercial fishing license which allows us to sell bait according to the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. We can get bait anywhere from 2 inch crappie minnows to 12+ inch muskie/stiper suckers. Don't care to meet you anywhere locally at anytime. Doesn't matter if you want 1 dozen or 100. Just happy for the business. Been selling striper bait to the local guides and their buddies for about 3-4 years now. I live about a half mile from Lee's Ford, gimme a call if you interested and I'll give you directions....or email me at [email protected]

Also if you after crappie minnows, I'll make sure to charge you less than you would find anywhere else in town. That's really the whole point here, bait prices have gotten ridiculous around here. You'll pay $2.00 for one big shiner at some of these local bait stores....insanity!
