We were down from the 20th-24th. Found a lot of fish back in Indian as well. We caught stripers flat lining small alewives behind bobber/balloons and stripers and bass casting spoon. They wouldn't touch planer boards, down lines or shiners, although some of the guys did well with shiners the day before I got there.

The fish were feeding up to the surface, then rolling back down in small packs. It was over before you saw it, usually. The key in casting was finding a place where they came up several times then pounding the area in hopes they would come up there again. Keeping the small bait alive on the hook was a challenge and we had to work very hard for the fish, but we got some decent 12-16 # fish.
