If so , hows the fishing ? And I guess the skiers are off the water now ?
We're going to start that whining again........
If it is so expensive......then DON'T go.
Personally, the lake is a pretty **** good fishin hole.....EXPENSIVE or not.
To answer the question.......I've not been there in a while but I'd suspect all the pleasure boaters are off the lake......
This time of year, I've had GREAT luck in the past carolina rigging the brushpiles along some of the docks. Most ALL docks on the lake have brushpiles. Also, pretty much all "fishy" looking points on the lake have brushpiles.
Jigging the riprap right next to the ramp has always been good also.
I hope this helps.

Hey Geo , thanks for the good advice. I never really thought Boggs was expensive. I dont think anywhere is expensive that Ive been to. I guess thats all in the eye of the beholder though...I enjoy getting away from it all , and enjoying the outdoors , at any cost. We're going to start that whining again........

Whining? Who's whining?
I actually fished it a lot this summer. I paid one time. The rest was on my buddies. Gas there, gas in the boat, gas home, they bought me a couple of new jigs and one fixed my trolling motor that broke when it hit a stump while fishing there. Turned out to be a pretty good deal...for me
I'm not whining, I'm just not paying a dime to fish there.
Does that make you a mooch???
I don't know. Does it? I don't see any of them giving me $500 a month for my boat payment, so until they buy their own boat and truck to pull it, I guess they will pay when they want to go places that I do not. I think it is better than them having to sit at home and not get to fish and they do too.
It is nice to have fishing partners help out with the expenses of going fishing, but paying for your trolling motor repairs....that's asking too much. Even if he offered, thats ridiculous! Like you said, you're the one paying for the boat!
ding ding!! A buddy of mine BORROWED my boat, a battery went bad on him and he INSISTED that I let him pay for it! We argued for a bit...but I caved and let him pay for the battery. He will get that money back in jigs that I will be tying for him!! hehehehehehe
Ahhh...you didn't say that he borrowed it....thats a different story.
Sorry, didn't see you were a different poster! As you guys said, if a guy borrows your boat and breaks it...he should at least offer to fix it.
