Are Optima'a worth it?

i bought a new tracker with interstate batteries and had to replace the trolling battery at 4 months old,i will never have one in my boat again unless its free.i like the dekas.

I didn't like my interstate batteries either............I think they have a TON of those sitting around when they roll out the boats, and my thinking is they don't spend a whole heck of a lot of time making sure they are good.

I got 1 year out of a my interstate battery.

I'm using the Wal-mart MAXX batteries right now.

Carquest batteries mentioned by Elwood are made by Deka........they are supposed to be the TOP in batteries.
