It may be correct if you are calculating the jobs saved or created and you work for recovery.gov.

Depends on whose math you are using, 2 could equal 4 or maybe it does not, I am so confused. Somebody call my Physics 1, 2 and 3 professors from college and ask them.

Yep, it is correct. If you take a 2x2 board, and divide it into 2 parts, you can end up with 2 each (2 X) 1 by 2's (1 x 2).

Or ya can get a 2x2 that is half the length.

Just wanted all to see that sometimes things aren't what they appear to be.

OMG am I good with innuendo and incinuation.

I should have asked the question candidly, without a hidden agenda, then the answer would have been more evident and understandable. Like, "if you cut a 2x2 down the middle, would that equal or result in 2 each 1x2 boards? "

Oh.....my PM's still work, but nobody seems to be asking me any candid questions? I guess there aren't any that need to be answered.

    Here's another good one:

A mother has 6 daughters, and each daughter has one brother. How many children does the mother have?

I bet you all wish it would warm up so I can go fishing!

I would like to submit these questions, please.

    (1) A gear traveling at 2200 rpm is 1.75" in diameter and is driven by a gear 3.5" in diameter. What is the speed of the larger gear?

    (2) A gear traveling at a speed of 120 rpm is driven by a gear traveling at 480 rpm. If the smaller gear has 16 teeth, how many will the larger gear have?

    (3) A gear 4 cm in diameter has 24 teeth, and it meshes with a gear having 36 teeth. What is the diameter of the other gear?

    (4) Are you studying plane geometry?

    (5) How does it feel to have a "friend" hug you and pee in your boot at the same time? LOL

Your PM works fine; will answer later today. Have to go to the hairdresser and see if she has a magic wand that will make me beautiful for Thanksgiving.

If the mother has one boy he is the brother of all six of the girls. I think the answer is 7.
