I started using it this summer and really like it. It seems similar to Trilene 100%, but with a little less stretch and better abrasion resistance. I haven't fished at night with it, but it does light up under a black light.

I've seen many questions on here regarding line. So here's mine. I typically use BPS flourocarbon but found some Stren clear blue flourescent florocarbon. Is it any good for nite fishing? Thanks for any opinions and Happy Thanksgiving!

yes used it this year and liked it. be careful not to buy the "blue tint." it does not glow under the blacklight. i am invizX during the day and even though the stren isn't the same quality it gets the job done.
It is good line to use at night, but it frays easily. I have also purchased some junk spools of it where the line broke (and not at the knot guys so don't tell me to check my knot). In my opinion, it can't hold a candle to BPS XPS or Berkley 100% Fluoro. I have never been a big fan of Stren. The only thing they make that is any good is mono, and I hardly ever use it. The Clear Blue Fluorescent does show up under a blacklight, so that can help you detect bites at night.

I've also seen where they were both in a fluorocarbon test and the Stren held up a little better under abrasion testing. Either way, two good quality fluoros made here in the USA, IMO.
