Dale Hollow Post thanksgiving fishing.......

Day 1......

We did allright, but should have done better.

We put 9 in the boat with 4 slots going 4.5, 4, 3.2 and 2.5 lbs.........NO overs, but 1 was really close.

Most came on jigs, but we caught a few on the fly........

It is getting FUN.

Day 2........

Still much of the same.........started off with a couple QUICK pulldowns at daybreak. We caught 1 and I knocked one off with the net........oops.

Then the day slowed down and we caught 1 or 2 on a jig........talk about SLOW.....

Around 2:00pm, we found the motherlode, and put 8 fish in the boat in 10 minutes. Had 2 doubles. ALL slots, with a 5.4 largemouth and a 4.0 largemouth kicker.

Again.......NO overs.

Ended the day with 12 fish, 3 on the fly.

Day 3..........Not too bad...........We only caught 5, but had a 4.5 and a 4.2......

We were looking at eliminating water today so next week should be more productive....

GOT lots of spots to fish next week.............cannot wait.

TheBassMan30........don't worry, I will stay off the "hot" spots saturday and sunday. I there there are 2 spots I could set on and stick some SERIOUS fish........

Man, I cannot WAIT.
