Thanks for answering my question. I enjoy reading your guys postings on fnf. I have read a bunch about your tips and trips and hope to encorporate what I have read into some big wintertime smallies.
Thanks again,

I'm guessing that most of the dedicated fnf fishermen use the 3 rig system to quickly go from one depth to another and back if he wants to....I'm sure thats the quickest way to do it....I guess I use that already but with 2 rigs....only thing is 1 of them has a croppie jig tied to it.... I may have a long way to go before I'm a sucessfull fnf fisherman it looks like ..

Like to add a couple more questions. Is fnf effective on largemouth?Has anyone tried fnf on the Ohio River or other moving water?
Jake
I caught about 30 largemouth on Stoner Creek 2 days last week. The FNF will catch any fish that suspends, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout and others. Moving water is no problem because my buddy catches them regularly out of Elkhorn Creek.
I pour my own jigs and tie up some bucktails on jigs down to 1/16 oz.The 1/16 oz. jigs have #1 hooks, the largest I can get in my mold. Are these hooks too small?
