What kind of braid are you using? I use Fireline 8lb test and have never broken on the hookset, EVER, and anyone that fishes with me knows my hooksets are just as if I had 80lb braid on my flipping stick and I am trying to pull a 6 pounder from the buck brush at Ky Lake in the spring.
