I was reading about this bait and the millions spent on R&D and I wondered....have we gone to far? Anyone read about these baits?

Other than reading about them in Bassmaster Magazine, I have never seen one. A little ludicrous to spend millions in research and development for baits that have never seen shelves in stores, don't you think?

I can't imagine what this bait will cost. I guess if a Pro uses it and wins some money on it then the sales would go up but good gosh!
Makes me wonder if these lure manufactures are getting to smart for their own good?

I tend to shy away from any bait that comes in a "kit." However, it did win an award at ICAST 2008. That's a plus.

Did you see the old dude in the video? Looks like he's fishing in Mexico. Any decent fisherman can make a bait look good down there.
