    Ky River at Clifton?

Has anyone been on the KY river at Clifton?
KDFWR sight says there is a pay ramp there and its not too far away from me so I am interested.

    If you've been there...
    what's the ramp like?
what's the scenery like? (asking about the scenery doesn't speak too highly of my fishing skill eh?)

    caught anything?

I love the KY river especially for the scenery and isolation.
    Thanks!

    Re: Ky River at Clifton?

Fished it for the first time a few weeks ago. Ran up river to the lock. The river looked good but the current was still quite strong. Right below the lock looks good for fishing. If I could go back right now, while the water levels are lower, I would throw 3" grubs and crankbaits up near the lock. I'd say a fella could catch a few up there right now before this next wave of rain moves in... Good luck!
