got my new rod in today. it's a shimano crucial, 7'2" Med XtraFast tip. wow. there's probably a placebo effect in play here, but this thing is flat out beautiful. just like when ralphie pulled out that red rider in a christmas story.

now i'm going to go get on my pink fluffy bunny suit and pretend i'm hooking one of george's 'pet' fish.

can't wait to get back out on the water!!!!
