Secret Santa?

I would but I will be spending too much time at Dale Hollow fishing between now and then. I will go ahead and say it, Tough job but somebody had to do it.

If anyones interested this is how it works:
i cut and pasted and modified the following so if it looks stupid or is illegible just do a search for secret santa on here to get the idea:

How it would work is anyone who is interested p.m you there forum name,real name and address and what you like to fish for. by the deadline date,lets say december 15th.On the 10th youll send out a name to everyone in and thats who youll get to send too.Lets make it a 10.00 min. on gifts.Could be a lure or 2 or a box of stuff you dont use anymore.These do not have to be new.All names will be put in a bowl and you draw them to see who gets who.
All involved please send one out so nobody who sends is left with nothing.This will be honor system only and to be fair to all i will place all the forum names, on this post to keep accountability the best we can.
Again if anyone puts there name on the list please send your gift.You will be someones secret santa and you will receive a gift.It would be pretty crappy if they did not recieve one back.
This doesnt even have to be an out of pocket expense guys,get creative.If you make lures thats great,share them.If you have a box of lures you dont use much,pick a few out.
Be generous or give what you can afford or thinks fair.No big deal.In the end i hope there will be no complaints and plenty of thank yous.
For those who are concerned about giving out there address dont be.They will only be used for mailing address for your package,not to be used for anything else.Only ones who will see it is another sender or possibly administer or moderator from this site.Thanks...JOHN

I could do it on the 12th or 13th in between my trips but the biggest problem I see is that you have to wait 10 minutes between PM's on the board and it would take FOREVER for me to send them all out, especially if we get 20 or 30 people. Were talking 4 straight hours every 10 minutes if 24 get involved. I just don't have that much time when I get back. Maybe if we started it now, I could match person #1 with person #2, #3 with #4, #5 with #6 and so forth. Same as drawing a name out of a hat but it will be based on which PM I get first. I will have internet service tonight, tomorrow, Fri, Sat and Sun at the lodge before moving to a cabin for a week that does not have service. Just a thought on a way that I could do it but the bulk of them would need to come in over the next few days for me to do it. Any thoughts?

If this is ok, then I could do a post and have them peg it to the top of the board

The p.m way used to take forever and was a problem,Its so much easier when there a email address in the profile or some one sends or post and email.

Once i drew everyones names and matched them id send them out as time permitted over days.Id probaly be able to do it this year but with 70 plus hour work weeks and other irons in the fire plus family time im afraid id mess it up, plus to be honest just plain tired right now lol.But i enjoyed this thing and my innattention isnt fair to the others who may have enjoyed it also.

Sorry but i'll be riding my sled from state too state this year.getting too close too xmas for me too get in even but was in the last 2yrs and loved it.Merry Xmas too all.
