Got my new 7 ft medium bait casting rod, and the reel has more bearinghs than I can count.My old reel has only 3 and the other stuff, and I could cast it in the dark, and hardly ever back lash. My first cast took 15 minutes, braid can really tangle. Second cast took ten minutes. An hour later was throwing ratting rouge out of sight.Guess I'm not one of those high tech red necks! I only went out to learn the tricks with the reel, took three baits, and much to my surprise, and shock, caught 4 spotted bass, standing on shore.
