Anyone know of a bait shop in Carrollton area to purchase minnows ???

good luck with that.... the only place i know it the pay lake on 55 732-5314.... if u coming from frankfort u could call bob risch ( rischs gun shop) 484-3638 that is were we get them he is in owen but call first he might not carry them this time of the year

Baits Galore, Fish & More, 406 Main Street, 502-732-7034. I haven't been there in a couple years, but they had minnows, shiners, goldfish, nightcrawlers, whatever you want. They could also hook you up with a rig for snagging paddlefish, a popular way to fish in the area. The next closest place I can think of would be in Owenton.
