Tough question. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Choosing a rod for another fisherman is hard work. That being said, I like the Basspro Extreme, St. Croix, and I got a bargain Fenwick HHG (or maybe HMG) from Cabela's for about 80 bucks. It seems really light and sensitive. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
St. Croix Mojo Bass would be a great choice...for under $100! Plastics model.....
BPS extreme
$69.99 Shimano Clarus. These rods also have a lifetime warranty. Break them take them back with $10.00 to cover shipping & get a new one at any good Shimano dealer over the counter.
I second this ... the Mojo is a great inexpensive rod that provides good feel and good backbone. I have the Jig/Worm model and love it, only thing it is 6'6'' and you might want something longer
Have you tried any of the new Wright and McGill rods(skeet reese rods)? They are very nice from what I have seen but have not fished with one yet .
Shimano Compre. Excellent rods, lifetime warranty.
New Abu Garcia vengence.... AWSOME rod for the money... 89.95 i think.... Light, split grip... man its a good rod.. Will not be dissapointed!
B&R Outlaw rods, 6'6" or 7' MH is my new favorite and I am HIGHLY critical of rods, but for the money they just plain ROCK! Got a full year of fishing and tournament fishing using these rods and not one complaint at all
I have 6'6" H&H Heavy Worm and Jig rod I will sell ya. It is in great shape I just dont use it. $100
I live in Evansville but could meet or ship. And the Skeet Rods are junk IMO!
