Email from the websites Tyme provided is good but I still believe that personal, snail mail, letters are viewed as more important and given more weight.
Grump, I agree that a snail mail takes more time and effort and may carry more weight.
But I'm a cheap old retired S.O.B. and can't afford the stamp!!!![]()
The letter I sent via the internet this morning went like this:
Mr. McConnell,
This is my first time writing to a government official but with all the spending going on these days, well let's just say I'm a common man with common sense and I'm now I'm past the point of laying back without speaking up on certain things when they have been brought to my attention.
The subect matter is the spending of $35,000.00 dollars for flowers by Nancy Pelosi. Nancy Pelosi spent $35,000 of our tax money for flowers? According to her the money was spent on Jack Kemp's funeral. Mr. McConnell when is the last time you spent company money on flowers for a fallen coworker? You pay for flowers out of your own pocket, or you take up a collection from various co-workers who wish to donate money if they want to or if they can afford to, sometimes a company might match the employer's contributions.
The spending of money like it's growing on tree's has got to stop NOW!
Thanks for reading.
