One of the guides took me out yesterday, 11 mph shifting winds, water temp,56, depth 33ft. Air temp had a bite. . Anyway I got a good lesson on electronic's.
He had a good little drop he found some fish on an w/livebait an a couple hours of coaxing non biteing fish, was able to get 6 fish in, one just 21, the rest ky's.
What was most helpful was him showing me the use of the equipment, plus to see how he kept the bait on the target, then to see the fish hit the bait.
Also a large school of shad was seen several times in the area but these fish were all on the bottom
these ky's took a lot of work as perhaps as many as 7-8 baits came back just skinned to death , never touched the hook.
regardless I got a great lesson on the use of the electronic's I sure need to up grade.
The lake is seeing a some changes, weather, light etc. but its been moveing through since sunday so nothing real drastic.
When i ask him who had been the biggest help to him on the lake over the years, he pointed to the graph
