Seeing fish in a moving boat is complicated, Setting it on auto when you're moving, and putting it back to manual when using a trolling motor helps.I had a manual with my eagle but it blew out of the boat.A lot had to do with gain and chart speed.the old paper graphs were great and very sensitive.Cone angle is another factor. In mho the flasher was the most accurate when you learned to use it. If I ever win the lottery, after discovering the fountain of youth, I would like to try one of those cameras. what boggles my mind is I used to catch fish before they had fish finders!
