My prediction
Tar Heels = 84
Cats = 73
Not dissing or starting afight just a prediction let's here yours, whoever is closest gets a Wolf Cookie..................whatever that is, lol.
Not a big KY fan........but I will set the DVR to tape that one...........
Should be a good game none the less.
North Carolina 75 @ Kentucky 78
UNC 83
KY 76
I think the Cousins line about "not impressed" with UNC when asked if he had watched them will fire the Heels up. You don't give a good team like UNC more ammo with blackboard material like this.
One other prediction, Cousins finally blows his stack and gets tossed from the game or Cal will just sit him because the Heels are ten times more physical than any team KY has played and he has already lost it a couple times bangin with the little guys.
In a game like this, I think experience may trump athletic ability...
I think UK has more athletic ability, but UNC has the edge on experience and that might eek them by us in this one. I hate to predict against my boys, but I'll say UNC by 6...and I'll predict a close game with some free throw shooting woes that prevent us from closing the gap late.
HOWEVER, a certain fellow named JOHN WALL will be a game changer if he goes off...that could swing the whole deal Kentucky's way.
It's going to be an awesome game. I can't wait!
I'll go with KY by 2. I'm liking these guys more and more. They have a tough game in front of them and they know it. In the recent past UK really didn't have a coach to handle games like this (JMO) Coach Cal can motivate these boys so until he proves me different I think they will rise up and beat UNC.
Kentucky 81 UNC 97. I hate to prdict something like that, butt, I just do not beleive the Cats have enough experience to play with this NC team. I hope they do...
What a game...
Free Throw shooting definitely played a big role, but we hit'em when we had to.
Waaaaaay to close for comfort, especially after bolting out to a 19 point lead in the first half, but I knew UNC would make a comeback. They were not going to roll over, and they've got a coach who knows how to win. They had a valiant come back, but we were able to persevere when it counted.
GO CATS!!!!!!!!
Next stop, Madison Square Garden and UCONN...can't let that one slip up on us! Oh, and somebody make sure John Wall has plenty of water this week, ok? SHEESH!
That is concerning to see Wall out and the lead diminish. They need to learn to play without him.....
