3sons and myself went out under perfect conditions this morning and hammered the BIG fish. I had a 6-2 and a 5-0 and he catches his first 5 pounder that went 5-4. Only the 2nd time ever I have had 3 overs in my boat the same day. FNF is ON and only getting better with every day. I had 2 hit it so hard coming at me that I never got a good hookset on them because I was reeling up the slack they knocked in it and both of them got off, one after jumping was a good 4+ pounder and the other took me all the way under the boat before letting loose but we never saw her. Water temps down to 53 and the Fly is ON. Never let it be told this technique does not catch big fish. today made my 40th fish over 5 and 4th fish over 6 in just the beginning of my 5th season of fishing it and taking out all the time I have spent in the hospital to where I missed several days in December the last 3 years, AWESOME.
By the way, CATCHEMALL, patterned our tourney winning spot to a new spot that produced Mikes 5-4 and one of the 2 that I lost as well.
Counting Mikes over that he caught yesterday, that makes 6 over fish in 5 days all on the fly
