We had two groups of 4 guys in each and saw only 6 total deer both days.Next year we will try a different hunt.The game wardens said they had 237 hunters and only 35 deer checked.Last year we got drawn for the state park hunt and only took 2 deer.The deer over there are real smart.They stay right next to the road and you cant shoot them near the road.After hunting we drove down to the boat dock to turn around and had 15 deer standing in the parking lot.The park ranger was havin a great time watchin us goin in circles tryin to get a shot.I hope I can get a couple more chances with my crossbow or my muzzleloader.Need a few more to fill the freezer and make more jerky.
