Charlie Strong

Well Jurich is talking with Strong and we'll know something this week. I am surprised by some of the Blogs and Boards I've been reading that alot of people including Louisville fans think this is a mistake. Some are referring to it as Kragthorpe part two the sequel and the like.

I realize the number one knock is he has never been a Head Coach before, neither had Bobby Petrino when he came here. What I like about Strong is his work ethic and great recruiting ties. I think the guy can get some of those Florida, Alabama and Georgia players to come here like Petrino was doing. Bobby's banner years 70% of the team was from Florida and look at the success he was having. I like the idea of Strong as Head Coach, the guy can motivate he has more than proven himself and understands defense inside and out and that's something Louisville needs BADLY. Besides have you really looked at that guy, Wow, if those kids get out of line he may unleash the Guns on them, that guy is a brick.

According to Tom Dienhart on facebook: "Sounds like Charlie Strong could be introduced as Louisville's coach on Wednesday. Deal may happen on Tuesday."

I think he will make a good coach. I just hope he is offensive minded. I will take it but winning games 10 to 7 is boring to watch.

His defense fell apart playing Bama so I wouldn't hire him...terrible showing when he needed to be on! Just kidding of course!
