Sure Set Hooks - Question on hook changes

I have some lures I am changing hooks out on. I want to up the size of hook on some floater jerk baits and also I have replace the hooks on some jointed crank baits.

The first question I have is if I am just changing the size of one hook; should I put the larger hook at the body or the tail on the floating jerk baits? I understand it may affect the action; but I read that a heavier weight in the front on a jerk bait makes it look more like a dying shad.

2nd question; on the jointed crank baits; I am using a sure set hook on some experimentally; should I put this hook at the body or the tail?

Let me know what advice you have?

Sureset's - I would put them on the body on jerkbaits for suspension. JMO
