Do you mix it with water or put it on straight? Thanks!

Dish washing soap, such as Palmolive or Dawn, warm water and a dish rag have always worked very well for me. The rag is usually ruined, but who cares?

I use it without any mixing { except for spray bottles , half water then } to clean my rods and reels , dampen a clean rag with it and clean the cork and the blank , use Q-tips on the eyes . Use SG soaked Q-tips to clean all those hard to reach spots on reels . I also use it to clean the inside of my truck , my fish cleaning board , the kids bikes , you name it . Dosent require as much rinsing as dish soap or de-greaser . They sell small bottles at Dollar General I think which will be cheaper .

I use magic eraser and it makes the cork look brand new. Cheap and easy also.

I like steel wool and denatured alcohol. It get the dirt out pretty good. When ya get it good and clean, take some of the waterproof spray like for tents etc. (Get it at any X-Mart) spray it on a rag and wipe it on your cork. It will make your next cleaning a little easier.
