OOPS!! Just realized I have not changed any of the pics on my website for at least 6 or 7 years...have no idea how I have managed to stay in business without posting new pics on there every day to prove I am actually guiding and my client's are catching fish.
For all anyone knows, I am just sitting home with my feet up every day and just posting on the internet that I am guiding and my clients are catching big fish. Could be the folks that are posting on the internet that they have been out with me and caught big fish and learned from me how to do this are really me just changing handles or people that I have paid to say such things....how does anyone know without pics? How about all those tournaments my clients have won...how can I prove it unless I go to the weigh in with them and have someone take our pics together?

What am I gonna do about all those folks that are non believers? How can I prove anything to them unless I start putting up pics?

Here is what I am gonna do: Nothing. I don't have anything to prove to anyone Elwood...and neither do you.

Now chill out....life is too short for all this drama and besides it is spoiling my Christmas spirit.

LOL....aww pour another glass and get some grandkids around you, a cracklin fire, some good comfort food maybe a little Christmas music and ...uh did I say pour another glass?

elnut, i only found this sight about two months ago, and really like reading all the good fishing stories posted on here. and when i log on the first name i scan the page for is ELNUT. i read yours first, then pick out something that interest me. i have never fished the fnf before. until i read about it on here. and reading your post, you told me about the duck feather jigs. and i thank you. i know a man must do what he has to do, but i think' kinda like trying a different color to get a bit, you should look at leaving from a different angle. leaving would make one guy happy and thousands sad, or looking from a different angle. you could make one guy sad and thousands happy by keeping on keeping on.


ps. ELNUT it's CHRISTMAS and i think you could make a lot of fishermen and fisherladys happy if you keep those good smallmouth stories coming.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!! That is all that I have to say. As mentioned above we did win the Billy Westmorland tourney and every fish was caught on the FLY. Had it not been for this board, your post, and your friendship the I would not be able to say that. Just because someone can't do what you can oh well. The people who have had the pleasure of fishing with you know what size and how many fish you can catch on the fly. But in my opion that doesn't matter, because the only person that you have to be honest with is your self. So tell the haters out there to KISS OUR A** because WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!

I agree with Dave, life is too short for all this drama. This is at least the third time that you have threatened to leave the board so that you can get all of the poeple to try to stop you by saying how wonderful and interesting you and your posts are.

I hope that you really mean it this time and stop posting for good. I sure get tired of trying to read through your verbose, long winded, and repeative posts. Without you, our life as Moderators will be much easier.

I agree with Grumpy, if you are going to do it...then do it. If not, then stop the drama. Nobody wants to read a hundred responses on why you should stay and how much everybody loves you. I've always enjoyed your posts, even though I never fish Dale Hollow or the f-n-f, it's just interesting to read about other fishing techniques. However, I could just as easily not read about Dale Hollow or the f-n-f...either way, doesn't matter. I'm not meaning anything personal by this, JMHO. I would say the same thing to anyone else.

We all get agitated at times, it's how you handle it that matters.
