Guess I need to change my plans. I was going to take my 14 year old son next Monday and Tuesday and try to teach both of us how to use the float and fly. I had been trying to go over all your posts carefully and figure out where to go and what depth to fish. Lets see where to start. You were 35 minutes from weigh in in your little boat at the Tournament you won but now that's iffy cause I saw no pictures? Second you were fishing 10' to 12' deep because you tied on a 13' leader and still caught fish after the bananna. Third you were fishing grass probably around Sulpher Creek give or take a mile. I really hate to re figure this just because I have no pictures.
I know what I'll do I'll take back the two 10'6" rods I bought and the float and fly kits and the two different lines and the extra flies and tell my son we just can't go.
No, I'm not going to do that because some IDIOT made a comment on this board. I don't post much but this is to important not to. I too enjoy and hopefully have learned enough from your posts to catch at least one smallie more imporantly that my son catches one and this trip will be worth it.

Dont know you and never met you however I have seen your posts on here many times. You do contain a butt load of information. As Dave said in his earlier post enough with the drama. You have been around this world long enough to know that their are assholes (forgive my terminology) in all walks of life. You need to look them straight in the eye and say see ya in the next tournament and I wish you luck. Screw'm they ain't worth the time. I dont know you Elnut but love reading your posts .They are funny,exciting and very informational.I would hate to not keep reading them.You just need to CALM down,take a few breaths and do what you think is right.I read you have a surgery (ANOTHER) coming up and maybe the stress of knowing that is coming and the remarks of some of these BONEHEADS!!! has got you way too stressed.Would love to meet you or better yet do some fishin,someday.Like I said just relax,enjoy the family,friends and have a Great Holidays.I heard this today and sounds kind of appropriate to all the haters "You Can't Fix Stupid" which is what some people are.Best Wishes Elnutsmalljaws on your surgery and everything you do. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!! That is all that I have to say. As mentioned above we did win the Billy Westmorland tourney and every fish was caught on the FLY. Had it not been for this board, your post, and your friendship the I would not be able to say that. Just because someone can't do what you can oh well. The people who have had the pleasure of fishing with you know what size and how many fish you can catch on the fly. But in my opion that doesn't matter, because the only person that you have to be honest with is your self. So tell the haters out there to KISS OUR A** because WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!

Git-R-Done!!! That's the way to handle the haters. I don't FNF (yet), but I also enjoy reading elnut's posts and keepping up with his surgeries. Best wishes and good health with whatever you decide to do.
