hears a hook you might look at www.lazertrokar.com I don't know how you get them but I think the ad said $11.95 a pack! number of hooks very, well at that price I will stay with Gammys never had problem with the barb being too small, they are the best, the bigger the barb the harder it is to get through JMO

I have used both the Gammy's and Mustad and I like the Mustads better than the Gammy's. The Gammy's point fouls too easy, if you bump a piece of wood or rock you need to tie a new shaky head on. With the Mustad hooks you get a little more durability out of them. I like vinyl paint better than anything else. I also appliance paint with epoxy in it. It comes in a spray can and you can paint a hundred baits in no time.

I don't know if it means that Gammy's is thinner or more of a point than Mustad, but it seems to me like it means sharper, I will take my chances and go for the sharp one JMO

I don't know the difference with either but I lose very very few fish on Mustad hooks. I pour a lot of bait for clients and friends and very few request Gammy. Some do but most want Mustad.

On all my worm and plastic stuff I use Gammy and only Gammy. Don't know the difference, I guess it is what you get used to.

With that said I like both hooks, I don't think you can go wrong with either, I just like the Mustad for my jigs and shakies. Merry Christmas.

Thank You Gary! I also think Mustad's are a little cheaper if that is a factor you may look at that. Also I buy in bulk it is a whole lot cheaper that way and you will use the hooks faster than you think. Ryan.
