Speaking of magnets, I keep a stout one in my boat in the event that I ever drop my keys or anything else like that. I put it in there after I dropped a flashlight that I later realized was magnetic.

Several years I bought a new truck and there was a spare key included in a little plastic thingy that was made to put in your wallet.....that spare key in still in my wallet and I have had to use it a couple times.

Have lost the magnetic boxes, zip tie works better.
