well, Like you said "Amazing" ! This was my first fall to be here to fish those conditions! And it just did not happen.
I hope I live long enough to see those kind of fishing conditions return! I might just have to take a trip to AK,Wy,CO someday.

    Rocky-
You did just miss the CR's glory days. I can still hear my disc drag zingin as my shoulder ached from ANOTHER 20+" trout! Aaahhh....those were the days. I have fished numerous Blue Ribbon trout fisheries out West, and the CR (in years past) was just as good, if not better during the spawn. I'm talking every fish was 18"+ with several 24"+....in just one day. My shoulder would be sore from fighting fish at the end of the day. I was hitting it 2-3 times a week during the winter......I was tying 20-30 flies a week to keep up.....aaaahhhh......now I'm depressed again. Back to reality.

You probably pull those jigs about the same speed as the current don't you?
Since I'm going with the current, I am slightly faster in order to maintain steerage control of the boat. I try to go just fast enough the maintain boat control...it doesn't take much.
