    Re: Best Line

I hear that line is making big jumps for the future..they are out there..very expensive.
YEA...I like 12lb big game line for Crank baits...I use 15lbs big game for top water buzz baits...That 50 grand smallie I caught, that went over 5 pounds...and was caught in very serious current, on the Ohio River...using 15lb big game; it held up!!!!...That bronzback was all over the big rocks and bolders, three feet of water! That was one monster Im so glad didn't break off!!!
Got to use Triline floro clear / clear when Im at Dale...Cumberland..The mean Green;..no more than 10lbs with jerks baits and CB...maybe even 8lbs...for more of my finesse fishing / small CB.
The P-line 100% floro is my favorite for heavy bass fishing...like 15 / 17lbs and up for jigs...c-rigs=12lbs floro for the leaders
Like the XPS 100% floro in 14lbs!!! for worm..brush hogs...lizards..

    Don-
Lol! I always wondered who actually bought that stuff! Must be just that guy...

I use to LOVE Stren Super Braid, but they stopped making it . I then switched to Fluoro, and have used Trilene 100% fluoro and P-Line...both have held up just fine.

Berkley 100% clear fluorocarbon. I spray it with KVD or Reel Magic before I use it each time especially on my spinning reel it really helps keep out the line twist. It is very sensitive detecting the subtle bites.
