    Re: Best Line

Ande is hands down the best line made.

USA-Made and holder of the most IGFA all tackle and line class records. Proven performance is an understatement. For example the Men's 1kg (2lb) line class record for the Tarpon is 106lbs 0oz. Yes, that's a 100+lb fish on 2 lb line. Their 30lb line landed the Men's 12kg line class record Tarpon weighing a mere 283.4lbs. Tough line indeed. The All Tackle Striped bass record at 78lbs was caught using Ande. Their Flouro tippet and leader material is top-notch as well. And, this is not a reputation only line, I use it and have used it for..., well, I can't remember ever not using it. Everyone that I've ever turned on to it still uses it to this day. I'm not sponsored and I don't work for them, I'm just a very satisfied customer who likes to spread the word about this 'mom and pop' USA-made line co. and their products.

    Don-
Lol! I always wondered who actually bought that stuff! Must be just that guy...

I use to LOVE Stren Super Braid, but they stopped making it . I then switched to Fluoro, and have used Trilene 100% fluoro and P-Line...both have held up just fine.

Berkley 100% clear fluorocarbon. I spray it with KVD or Reel Magic before I use it each time especially on my spinning reel it really helps keep out the line twist. It is very sensitive detecting the subtle bites.
