They didn't ship out, they ran for their lives.

Ever been to Memorial Stadium when the Orioles lost a double header to the Yankees? The parking lot is like a "free fire zone" combined with "Saturday Night Snack Down". I know Marines that would cringe trying to get to their cars.

Those Bills and the Colts have something in common, its not the coach either.

I don't understand why everyone says it was a bad coaching decision when Bill Polian made it, just like he done at the Bills.

Bottom line is without Bill Polian Peyton Manning would have alot more SB rings.

How did you know I had a Cadillac? When you saw it, was it behind the Porsche, or beside the Viper? What bar or motel were you at when you saw it?

Yeah - the 2nd stringers did play to win...but their coaches didn't.

They should refund the money for everyone who bought a ticket to that game.

Why? Maybe we wanted to see the second stringers play. Does the ticket say "Admit one to see only the first string"? Nope, it says Admit One. The ticket gives you the right to enter the stadium and see a game. It does not come with a guarantee of the game's results. So since I watched the game on TV, should Comcast give me a rebate on part of my cable bill? Maybe Budwieser owes me a couple bucks back for the beers I "wasted " watching the second stringers.

I get what you're saying, but I guess what makes me upset is that it just seems to go against the integrity of sports to not be giving it your best shot to win each and every game.

Guys...in the sports world today the spirit of competition has almost no place ...professional sports is a business the same as our job is to us ....We make just about all our job or business decisions based on the bottom line and these guys do also .....I expect if they played every game to win regardless of what they had to do the rest of the season then I think fate would intervene on occasion and they probably wouldn't be coaches and managers long....
