I believe and always have, however I have never seen one. I really would like to though.

The End of Time thread got me to thinking about something else I like to ponder on a cold winter day: Ghosts or more to the point why don't ghosts appear/visit modern man as much as they did in "olden times".
According to historical accounts, Ghosts and other spirits frequently visited all sorts of people AND PEOPLE BELIEVED IN AND EXPECTED TO SEE GHOSTS. However, today with a few exceptions, "modern man" does not believe in ghosts and is not often visited by them.
I believe that, with rare exceptions, ghosts will only appear to people that believe in them. And since I do believe in ghosts, spirits and other things that go bump in the night, I do not believe that ALL OF THEM are just a product of our imaginations.

Mhall...if you ever do see a ghost what are you going to do...ask him if he wants a beer? Ask him what the fella's in the other boat are catching them on or what? LOL
You know Tim I don't know. It depends....is it a woman, a man, a child, I'll have to ponder the moment in time but rest assure I'll say something and it might be something Grumpy won't let me say on this site, lol.

I just love this board....lol....I believe the farther back you go the more people believed in the supernatural ....A lot of the things we use to not understand has been explained and thus less and less is left to the imagination......Our curiosity just about requires an explanation for everything we experience... If we saw shadows in the night and we didn't have an explanation for them them we explained them the best way we could...but I'll tell you, even if you don't believe in ghost some sense of a presence in the night will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck.
Told many people a story that happened to me and a couple other kids years ago. I can attest that ghosts do exist and I have witnessed it first hand, beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Not a believer but am a lover of ghost stories and would enjoy hearing any that you guys would like to share with us ....If we can't go fishing we might as well share some stories .....sad part about being a non-believer is you don't have anything to share..
Do you all watch any of the Ghost shows? I watch a few of them and have been to several of the locations that they have done shows in. Waverly in Louisville was spooky!
I use to watch some of them but it seemed they mostly got to be copies of each other with different people in them but I do enjoy the ones that are different..Same as the space aliens...I doubt we have been visited by those guys either but it is entertaining stuff..
Well the Alien stuff is real....we had a few on here but they left...with help.![]()
A buddy I used to run around with years ago, (back when they were wanting to put a 100' statue of Jesus) his grandfather purchased the prop at Waverly. We spent lots of time up there goofing around and doing teenage things. Let me tell you that if anyone is a non believer, go up there and run around after dark.
