No doubt some bad calls...we watched it and all agreed to that. That little 5'10" guard they had was a little motor wasn't he? Too bad he got hurt cause' I love to see a player giving it his all.

Uk by double digits. This one could get ugly, UL has some losses early, as much as I dislike them, I won't say that they are a bad team because of the record so far. But any sensable UL fan can look at the comparison position for position, and UL can in no way match the CATS!
im gonna say 90-82 UK, unless UL is hot from the three point line, cause we all know UK struggles to stop three point shooters, the score might be flip flopped in UL's favor. now i have to go wash my mouth out with soap for saying that![]()
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Louisville upsets UK by 5. My score prediction is UL 66, UK 61.
WOW, Michael going against the grain bigtime. You are the first one to predict a major upset. One thing for sure Louisville has absolutely nothing to loose and ZERO pressure, everybody has counted them out of this one including me. If John Wall is abducted by Aliens I give The Ville a small glimmer of hope, lol.
My prediction is the team coached by the lying, full of crap, slick Italian will come out victorious.
Ha, hedged my bets with that one didn't I!
good one tim
I stole it from the other site...I am guilty as charged and I wasn't sure that Art posted here and it was too funny to not share with others.
I think regardless of which side of the aisle you fall on, it is not half true, but completely true.
its an intimadating game for both teams and even though i look for KY to win i also look at as how many times has the worse of the two won the game ?? i look for cousin's to get into foul trouble fairly quick and louisville will more than likely press and have jerry smith and sosa on wall at all times wich will open the midddle up for patterson and other UK players. I am hoping U of L pulls it off but im also trying to be realistic about it.
UK 82
UofL 68
:-(
Boys and girls, I'm tellin ya, this one has the potential to be EPIC.
There is the always dramatic story of Pitino coming back into Rupp and how he's going to be treated this year by UK fans....who will, in my opinion, trash up the joint with debauchery about Cypher and all that crap. I hope they don't, but they will. I would much rather see 24K fans turn their back and be dead silent when Pitino's name is announced instead, but that's a pipe dream.
There is this whole Rick vs Cal deal as two coaches with history as rivals, now coming together as in-state rivals in one of the most heated rivalries in college basketball. Yeah yeah, there's Duke/UNC, and it's equally rabid, but we know how UK/UL goes. And it is said that Cal and Rick don't exactly hold much fondness for each other anyway.
There is UK, at 14-0 with their best start in a long long time...new coach, all of the prime time expectations...the team doesn't want to lose and they want to prove that they are real...they want everyone to know who owns this state this year on the hardwood.
There is UL, who you KNOW is a little jealous of their in-state rivals success this year so far....they've heard all of the John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Eric Bledsoe incoming freshmen hype....they've heard how they are little brother to the Big Blue Nation. You think Rick won't have them fired up as the underdog role? You think Siva won't want to prove that he's just as good as Wall? You think Knowles doesn't want to torch UK? Yes, yes, and yes. UL has more to prove than UK, in my opinion, as they haven't had the spotlight on them all year nationally. That makes them dangerous because of one little pivotal word in this matchup...one word that is so simple, but so huge...
EMOTION.
It can only take you so far against better talent, but sometimes it can take you just far enough. How many times in this game has the "better team" walked out with a loss? I refuse to buy into the media predictions or the Vegas lines on this game - Can't do it.
SO, my prediction...
Both teams come out fired up. Rick runs a dangerous press on the Cats, because his ego will override his brain telling him not to...with our handles we eat it up and take an early lead...Rick will adjust his defense, maybe run a token press, and settle in. Cousins gets in early foul trouble and sits much of the first half. Wall tries to force it a little too much. Someone in red will get hot from behind the arc and keep Louisville in it - UK's achiellies heel. We are fairly even at the half. Louisville comes out of the locker room with a run and takes a lead, UK fights back on the backs of Wall and Patterson...it's tight right down to the wire...and Louisville (yes, I said Louisville)...finds a way to pull this one out for the win, riding on emotion.
You heard it here first. It's an emotion game, and MrSplitshot, a true-blue card-carrying UK alumni and die-hard fan is predicting our first loss. I hope and pray to little 8-pound baby Jesus that I am completely wrong and we hang 100 on the dirty birds, but I suspect that I may be closer to right than wrong.
Final Score
UL - 74
UK - 71
Ugh.
Prove me wrong blue!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHH C - A - T - S CATS! CATS! CATS!
