OK, this may get weird. I need your thoughts, ideas on what I'm thinking about doing. First, I converting an old tri-hull (unk. make, mod. or anything...except it's 13 1/2 feet long) from a console to tiller ( going to be a duck boat so room is essential). Thinking of shortening the cables on the control box, fabricating a tiller handle and running it from the back of the boat. Steering would be by tiller, everything else would work from the control box I now have. *Boat is rated for a 65 hp motor. Conversion would be a 50 hp merc. Am I nuts ?
