clarity> surprisingly a bit stained
fished for a few hours this morning/lunch time. blanked. wasn't marking any fish on deep structure. BUT I DID GET TO TRY OUT MY NEW SHAKEY HEAD SETUP. very nice.
wind was fairly calm when i got there but began picking up around 12:00.

What kind of set up did you try out. I just bought a couple of shimano sahara spinning reels for my finesse stuff. Plan on getting a couple new rods for them soon. I have been using some older spinning stuff that i had but felt the need to upgrade.

paired with shimano symmetre 2500fj or whatever it's called

feels VERY nice; can't wait to get one of biggw's pet fish on the end of it.

Does Crazy horse have those in stock? I was leaning towards some Falcon Lowriders. I have several of those in the trigger models. I have considered some of the shimanos. I will have to check them out again. I swear by their baitcasters.
