I am sorry I derailed your thread, but I just didn't think your comment was appropriate or true at all.
I dont know that bigger lakes 1,000 acres plus need bass kept to help quality. I havent seen a decent sized lake yet that needed more bass kept. There are alot of catch and release lakes out there (not in Kentucky) that have great bass populations. If you want to keep bass no problem, but I dont think it is helping the lake any. Not unless it is 100acres or less. There are good replicas out there but not all of them are good.
