My dog

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.

If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy crap, my dog is a liberal Democrat!!!

Just a joke people. I don't even own a dog. I did have a cat that was a liberal and fit the same criteria. However, she did earn her keep by catching mice.

Just thought I'd make a post and let y'all know I'm alive and well. I've received a couple of PM's asking if I was still around and I thank those that inquired. I haven't been fishing so I didn't have any "reports" to post.

Now it's time to get some wood into the garage ahead of this snow that's supposed to come soon.

Tyme sounds like your cat was a good Democrat it fed on....dem rats right? Now theres a good kitty.

haha I so enjoyed your story there Tyme. It certainly relates to my 2 indoor cats a great deal. Man they had a great life. I remember when we lived out in the country and a mouse ran across the floor and I called to my overfed sleepy cats to come and catch the mouse. They sauntered over and looked at it running around and thought it was a new toy I had bought them. They had no desire to catch and kill it but instead just followed it around the house until I took a broom to it and kicked it outside. If they didnt have such charming personalities they would be totally useless. lol
