For what it's worth, I hit Newton yesterday and ended up boating 25-30 fish. Biggest were around 4.5 to 5lbs. Missed a number of nice fish, but that's fishing for ya! Still, happy with thsoe results for a day in January.

Was this on the hot water side?

Yes, it was on the warm side. They weren't generating at the time but the water temp was still 62 or so. Crankbaits and senkos were the ticket for us.

I fished Turtle creek Friday and caught 2 bass in the 3 lb. range on a spinnerbait. One other boat there, a couple young men from Indy. they said they caught 3 in the 5 lb. range. <)))>< Jim
