Billy I'm with you on Kansas. A single digit win at home over........Cornell?
I was watching the Uof L game and the Syracuse /vs/ Memphis....Saw that score and it just amazes me. Granted I'm UK bias..but even if UK wasn't ranked I wouldn't consider Kansas #1...Don't hear a lot of talk about Henry at all....
Cards looked good. I think Pitino could use Reggie Hanson to coach Samuels...I think he will get stronger as the yr progresses. If he stays foul trouble free he'll do well.
Syracuse, I'm going to have to catch some more games after that Pitt spanking they took. Which if you see the breakdown the ref's blew the whistle so much they hyperventalited.....
But if your Kansas who's your conference competition to make you better. You have a Tenn game minus 4 players on the 10'th. Kansas St on the 30'th They do have to play Texas again.

Once again, I see Arkansas giving us trouble. Forston cramped out the other night or they may just have knocked off Texas...Pelphrey maybe the sleeper come post season time.

Henry is having a great season. He is averaing 16.1 ppg. and shooting 50 % from the floor, including 47 % from 3-point range.

Interesting thought I have had the same one several times about this team. They need to take a loss or two before Post season or they are checking out early. Alot of guys on Kentucky are becoming a little to happy about where they think they are. They could use a Humbling loss to help them.

Hey with Calipari, always the Brides maid and never the bride. He gets outcoached in the big games deep in the tournament. Didn't even win it with Rose in the final game at Memphis with 8 five star players surrounding him. That was the year Memphis beat every Conference USA team by 30 and according to all the talking heads they were a show in for the National Title............................................. .................Not.

You are a Kentucky fan, I really don't think you want to laugh at Conference USA considering how many times a team from said Conference, put the Cats out of the NCAA.

Conference USA was tough enough that Cal never won the regular season or tournament until after Louisville, Cincy and Marquette left for greener pastures.

He could be laughing at it from a historical perspective - I always thought that conference was funny because it had 3 divisions - red, white, and blue - correct? Four teams in each?

Why would Patterson not want to win the national title?

Yea, I will admit it's not much after the heavy weights left but at one time that was a solid conference just ask Tubby. Sweet sixteen sent to the house by Marquette and then UAB the very next year.

Yeah no need to remind me of that Marquette team - we had money on Missouri, and I was in attendance at the RCA dome when Marquette beat them in OT on the way to the final four. It was that punk Novak that couldn't miss, but Duane Wade is still my wives favorite player cause we see him in person. It was supposed to be Missouri that beat UK in the elite 8 game not Marquette. It hurt even more when Marquette took the big dump against Kansas in the Final 4 game and got destroyed.

The 16 team one division bigEast could learn a thing or two from the old Conference USA. You gotta split that monster into at least two heads or it could be a Conference USA on steroids and have FOUR 4 team divisions. They could almost have their own march madness.

Patterson endured 2 yrs of Drunky Clyde. Actually stood up to Drunky Clyde for a couple of teammates on a bus(so rumor has it)( He told Drunky Clyde," If he gets off the bus, we all get off."). I'd like to see him help cut down the nets....But like it was posted...Lots of ball left to play.

What about Purdue Mr Prowler??? I saw them pull away from Tubby the other night for a W...I just wish all our favorites teams played Duke more....LOL!

I kind of like them since Keady left. No real superstars this year just a lot of solid players. I like that white kid Hummel. I'll stay low key on them so they will continue winning. I sure don't miss the days of Willie Deane jacking up shots from all over the gym and making 25% of them. We'll see how they do up at Wisconsin.

The two teams that I would really like to see win a national title before I die are Purdue and Missouri.
