Wish I could go to Oneida Lake, NY in June - did that once, and have been ready to go back ever since!
That place is LOADED with smallmouth!
Not sure what all will be on the agenda, but I do know fly fishing in the Smokies in May while attending trout fest, as well as a week long trip back there in mid-October.
Lake erie in June for smallmouth, not too far away and WELL worth your travel.
Annual trip to Quetico National Forrest in Canada. Just over the border from the Boundary Waters....less people, more fish. We go a whole week without seeing anybody....and we fish a dozen different lakes! 4-5lb smallies are an hourly occurence up there, plus 40+inch pike, Walleye up the wazoo.
Really want to go to G-Ville this spring after reading about all the monsters caught there.
